あらすじ
Beyblade: Metal Fusion, known in Japan as Metal Fight Beyblade (メタルファイトベイブレード, Metaru Faito Beiburēdo), is a Japanese manga created by Takafumi Adachi, serialized in Shogakukan's monthly magazine CoroCoro Comic between September 2008 and February 2012. The series is a spin-off of the original Beyblade manga series written by Takao Aoki.
The manga inspired an anime production, retroactively named Beyblade: Metal Saga, which encompasses four seasons: Metal Fusion, Metal Masters, Metal Fury and Shogun Steel. The first season’s animation was produced by Tatsunoko Pro, with subsequent seasons and spin-offs being produced by SynergySP. It premiered on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2009, and aired until December 23, 2012. Nelvana, which licensed and produced English adaptations of the original anime series, also localized the four seasons of Metal Saga.

The third and tie breaking match between Gangan Galaxy and Wild Fang takes the form of a team battle with Yu and Tsubasa facing Benkei and Damoure. Tsubasa refuses to lose, but ends up channeling some dark forces to allow Gangan Galaxy to claim victory and move on to the next round.

With Team Gangan Galaxy tied with Team Wild Fang, a fourth and final team battle is set to determine a winner. The battle between the teams is epic, but in the end it is Gangan Galaxy’s Gingka and Masamune who lead their team to victory, and to the final round.

Team Gangan Galaxy are in shock as they learn that their teammate Tsubasa has been infected by a dark power. Meanwhile, the first battle for a spot in the finals between Excalibur and Wang Hu Zhong is won by Wales and Sophie of the EU team.

Yu recovers from his injuries in time to battle Enso Garcia in the first match of the finals, but he and his damaged Libra lose. Masamune defeats Enso in the next match, but then loses to Enso’s sister, Selen.

Gingka battles Selen and she surprises him by conceding the battle after managing to drain much of Pegasus’s power in the process. In the next match, Gingka defeats Ian to give his team the lead, only to lose to Argo and the teams are tied again.

Tsubasa and Argo battle to see which of their teams will advance to the finals of the Beyblade World Championships. Argo starts strong but Tsubasa refuses to quit and he wins in the end.

Team Gangan Galaxy arrives in the USA to watch the next matches in the Beyblade World Championships. Masamune meets old friends, and battles one, but they call it a draw and vow to fight another day.

With Tsubasa and Yu in the hospital, the rest of Gangan Galaxy attends a match between Team Excalibur and Team Star Breaker. Jack battles Klaus, and his Evil Befall defeats Klaus’ Grand Capricorn, a battle that leaves Klaus in a state of suspended animation.

Julian Konzern of Team Excalibur battles Damian Heart of Team Star Breaker. Damian challenges Julian to a best two out of three match. Julian accepts but is defeated twice in a row. Even when Wales and Sophie join in they are not strong enough to defeat Damian’s Kerbecs. Julian’s confidence is crushed.
GO!バトルブレーダーズ！
Gangan Galaxy tries to pick a replacement member for the Final Battle, but Kenta, Team Wang Hu Zhong and Ryo are all disqualified. Blader DJ and the American DJ battle to see who will announce the final match, but their battle ends in a tie and they decide to announce it together.

The final matches of the Beyblade World Championships begin and Zeo of Team Star Breaker battles Masamune of Team Gangan Galaxy. Dr. Ziggurat tells Zeo that if he loses, his friend Toby’s medical treatments will be discontinued. A desperate and possessed Zeo defeats Masamune in a hard fought match.

The victory party for Team Gangan Galaxy is crashed by Doctor Ziggurat and a group of disgraced bladers who corner Gingka and his friends. Ziggurat demonstrates the power of his bey-based weapon called Spiral Force, which destroys part of the countryside. Gingka and his friends pursue Ziggurat and vow to stop his use of Spiral Force by whatever means necessary.

Gingka and his friends try to rescue Toby from the clutches of Dr. Ziggurat but are blocked by Julian Konzern. Wales and Sophie clear the way by battling their former partner, Julian, but they lose. While Gingka, Masamune and Kyoya try to find Toby in Hades City, Tsubasa is challenged to a battle by Jack. Tsubasa defeats Jack, and Yu destroys Jack’s Arrangement Chamber.

While Masamune and Gingka try to reach the Spiral Core and Toby, Kyoya battles Damian. Kyoya defeats Damian just as Dr. Ziggurat warns the world that he intends on selling his invention, Spiral Force, to the highest bidder. Masamune and Gingka reach the Spiral core and prepare to destroy it.
怒りの最終決戦(ファイナルバトル)
Gingka and Masamune battle Faust at the Spiral Core. Faust’s bey, Twisted Tempo, actually sends them to another time and space with a Special Move. Ryuga intervenes by launching L-Drago at Hades City, which damages the Spiral Core. Gingka and Masamune rally to defeat Faust , but Hades City is damaged and looks like it will crash into the ocean.
ブレーダーの心(たましい)
While Gingka tries to use Pegasus to absorb the excess energy at the Hades City reactor, Masamune finds he must battle Faust again. It is only when Masamune’s old friend Zeo arrives to join the battle that they are able to convince Faust that he is actually Toby, and the three old friends are reunited.

Ryo, Gingka‰ЫЄs father, acts as Director of the new WBBA but the first tournament is disrupted by a blader named Masamune. Gingka meanwhile is on a quest to replace Storm Pegasus with a Legendary Bey sealed in the mountains near Koma Village. Gingka retrieves the bey in a cave and is challenged to battle by Masamune.

In Pluto’s lair in Mexico, the powers of the beys of some of the Legendary Bladers are used to begin the revival of Nemesis. The energy that this process emits alerts Gingka and his friends to the impending danger and they decide to head to Mexico to stop the revival before it’s too late. Meanwhile Ryuga feels the power of Nemesis’ revival too and plans to take the power for himself.

Gingka and his friends have landed in Mexico and rush to try and stop Nemesis’ Revival. Inside the temple, Rago, the Child of the Black Son, has already arrived. Gingka, King, Yuki, Masaune and Madoka make it inside the temple and battles begin.

Gingka defeats Chris in battle but convinces Chris that as a Legendary Blader, Chris is part of a team and not alone anymore. Aguma is defeated by Tithi and Dynamis gets Aguma to go with him and follow Gingka and the others. Gingka arrives at the Temple of Nemesis where he meets up with Pluto, Rago and to his surprise, Doji.

In a temple in Mexico, Rago battles all comers including Gingka and his friends and Ryuga and none of their beys have any effect on Rago’s Diablo Nemesis as it sends them all flying Pegasus. Before Gingka and the others can decide on their next move, Rago uses the power of Diablo Nemesis to destroy the temple.

While the WBBA and all its members are searching the world for signs of Rago and Nemesis, Gingka and his friends are training hard for the battle they know is ahead of them. Meanwhile, Rago, Doji and Pluto are on a boat in the middle of the ocean, attempting to raise the sunken Kingdom of King Hades.

Gingka and his friends fly towards the location of Nemesis in the Pacific Ocean, but the helicopter they are travelling in hits a vicious storm. They are forced to land on a deserted island and use boats to get to the Lost Kingdom of King Hades where they believe Nemesis is located.

Gingka and his friends try to help Ryuga who has been badly hurt in a battle with Rago, but it appears they are too late to save him. With Ryuga gone, Dynamis tells them that it means that Zeus barrier cannot be completed and now they cannot depend on any help from Mother Earth, they are on their own.

Kenta and his newly evolved bey, Flash Sagittario, battle head to head with Rago and his bey, Diablo Nemesis. Gingka is convinced that Kenta has been given the powers of the summer constellation legendary Blader from Ryuga. The others agree and a new attempt to create the Barrier of Zeus begins as they try to seal up the God of Destruction.

Gingka and the rest of the Four Season Legendary Bladers appear to complete Zeus’ Barrier and seal Nemesis away for good, along with Rago and Pluto who are carried down with the destruction of the Lost Kingdom of Hades. Their celebration is short lived though as through a crack in Zeus’ Barrier, the God of Destruction appears and is determined to destroy the earth.

ネメシスクライシス……銀河たちと破壊神の戦いから数年後。世界はようやく復興し、ベイブレードもまた新たな時代を迎えていた。
そんな中、地元で１００連勝を達成した黒銀(くろがね）ゼロはベイ『サムライイフレイド』と共に武者修行の旅に出る。目指すはかつてベイブレードの聖地と呼ばれた街。そこでゼロが出会った相手とは？

新型スタジアムでバトルロイヤルを挑むゼロ。そこへ現れ勝負を挑んだのは、無敵のサラマンダと呼ばれるブレーダー、火竜院忍だった。
冷静にスタジアムの特性を生かしてゼロを翻弄する忍。しかしゼロも負けじと忍の攻撃を利用して必殺転技を繰り出した。その軌跡はまるでかつての流星の如く……。
地獄の特訓
ゼロは偶然入ったハンバーガー屋の店長ベンケイとベイの話で意気投合。銀河を超えると言い切ったゼロを気に入ったベンケイは、彼に稽古をつけることに。
基礎体力を徹底的に鍛える内容に文句を言いつつもこなしていくゼロだが、ある日通りすがりの少年にその特訓を馬鹿にされてしまう。彼の名は海原エイト、腕の立つブレーダーらしいが……。
倒せ！パイレーツオロジャ！
勝負に負けた相手に罰ゲームを強いるエイトに勝負を挑むゼロ。ゼロジースタジアムの特性を生かして攻めるエイトの前に苦戦するゼロだが、やがて相手の動きからスタジアムの特性を掴むと反撃を開始。それは特訓の成果があってこそのものだった。鍛えたパワーを受けてイフレイドが勝利に向け疾走する！

バトルの中で学び強くなるゼロの姿に、ベイの新時代の息吹を感じる翼、まどか、ベンケイ。ならばと彼らは新たなステージを用意するべく、ワンディトーナメントの開催を決定した。火竜院忍へのリベンジ果たすべく参加したゼロは特訓の成果を生かして勝ち上がり、見事忍との決勝に臨むことに！
炎の必殺転技
前回の戦いとは比べ物にならない程レベルアップしたゼロに驚く忍だが、逆に本気を出せるとばかりに逆襲に転じサラマンダを追い込む。ゼロもまたエイトを倒した必殺転技で応じるが惜しくも決まらず、勝負は一進一退の展開に。だが長期戦はサラマンダに不利。その時ゼロが取った戦法とは……！？
リヴァイザーの挑戦！
ベンケイ主催の野外特訓に参加するゼロとマル、そして忍。キャンプのような雰囲気に戸惑うも、ベンケイの挑発に乗った忍は全ての特訓を意地でゼロと引き分けてみせる。その中で忍は、自分が基礎をおろそかにしていた事を認め、改めて次は勝つことをゼロに宣言するのだった。一方、海原エイトの兄、カイトは着々と打倒ゼロの準備を進めていた。
驚異のシンクローム！
特訓から戻る早々カイトの挑戦を受ける羽目になったゼロ。しかし忍を破った戦法は既に研究済みのカイトは鉄壁の防御でイフレイドを弾き飛ばす。このままではカイトの勝利は動かない……はずだったが、特訓の成果でゼロは見事に勝負を引っくり返す！そこで海原兄弟が繰り出した別の一手、それは？！

海原兄弟の秘密兵器、それは何と２つのベイが合体した姿だった。カイトに１度は勝ったゼロも、再戦では合体ベイ“オロジャリヴァイザー”の前に為す術なく敗れてしまう。

ゼロと忍で最強コンビ結成だと盛り上がるマル。しかし忍はそれを良しとしなかった。
翌日バトルで盛況なベイパークに現れた少女ブレーダー、紅蓮。彼女は今日がゼロジースタジアム初体験だったが、何とあっという間にゼロと同じ必殺技をやってみせた！

海原兄弟と蓮が加わって再びベンケイ主催の猛特訓が始まった。しかしベンケイは特訓中のシンクロームを禁止し、個別にメニューを与える。それはシンクロームに頼る前にブレーダーとしてのレベルアップを図るためのものだった。特訓を通じてベンケイに弱点を指摘されるゼロたち。しかしゼロジースタジアムでの勝負にこだわる蓮は……。
炸裂！無幻火流撃
勝手にベイパークの鍵を持ち出しゼロジースタジアムで特訓していた蓮は、突然現れた獅々谷鷹ノ助（ししやたかのすけ）との勝負で完敗。続けてゼロに勝負を求める鷹ノ助に応じたのは何と忍！？
しかし自分本来の戦い方を見失っていた忍は鷹ノ助の前に苦戦を強いられる。しかしベンケイとゼロの叫びが彼の目を覚まさせた！！
恐怖！真夏のビーチ
海水浴にやってきたゼロたちはベンケイの差し金でいつも特訓へ突入しそうになるが、まどかの機転で何とか事なきを得る。しかしその海水浴場は謎の海坊主によって、客の寄り付かない場所となっていた。噂の海坊主はゼロたちのもとにも現れるが、とっさにベイで反撃し追い返すことに成功。そしてゼロたちはその正体を突き止めるべく動き出した！
第14話
海坊主の正体は地元の少年、木倉（きくら）ゲンだった。海を綺麗にするためと言いつつ、実は人を脅かして楽しんでいた彼を反省させるべくカイトが勝負を挑む。が、何と海辺のスタジアムが波で水没し、無効試合に。ならばとゼロが改めて挑むもスタミナタイプのキラーケンとは相性が悪い。突破口はあるのか？！
襲撃！謎のブレーダー
ＷＢＢＡ本部長・大鳥翼（おおとり つばさ）の依頼で、ゼロジースタジアムでのバトルをより普及させるべく全国へと旅立つゼロたち。
しかし、本格的なゼロジーバトルをお披露目していた彼らに迫る謎の影があった。蓮（れん）と鷹ノ助（たかのすけ）のバトルに乱入した謎のベイはスタジアムを右周回し、２人を瞬殺。その正体は暗黒の竜こと暗闇左京（くらやみ さきょう）操る左回転のベイ、ダークナイトドラグーンだった！！
漆黒のドラゴン
再戦を挑む蓮を何と一蹴した左京は、再度シュートせずに鷹ノ助の挑戦を受けバトルを継続。その力に衰えはなく、果敢に攻める鷹ノ助をも遂に力尽くで制して見せる。ベイブレード界の覇者となることを宣言する左京に何かを感じた鷹ノ助は、彼の後を追うのだった。一方、その頃ゼロたちは？
ガーゴルの罠
訪問先で数々のバトルを繰り広げるゼロが疲れた頃合を見て、勝負を挑んできた悪矢（あくや）とその取り巻きたち。弱い者いじめで悪名高い彼らの挑発に、勝負を受けてしまうゼロ。
さすがに４人の連携相手に苦戦は免れなかったゼロだが、一瞬の隙を突いて反撃を開始！
スタジアムの特性を逆手に取って取り巻きと一緒に悪矢を一蹴し、大逆転するのだった！
激突！ゼロVS左京
一方その頃、スタジアムからの帰りに偶然左京と遭遇した忍は、野外でのバトルを挑まれていた！
必殺転技の使えない状況ながらサラマンダの特性を生かして持久戦を挑み、ドラグーンが揺らいだ瞬間を狙って勝負に出る忍。しかし、左京は余裕でこれに応じる。果たして勝負の行方は！？
ディフェンス最強の男
左京のダークナイトドラグーンの前に敗北したカイトは一人で対策を練ろうとするが、全く情報が得られず行き詰ってしまう。そんな時、ディフェンス最強を賭けてカイトを倒すため、所構わずバトルを挑んでは相手のベイを破壊する男・岩山美男（いわやま よしお）が現れた。カイトの状態を心配したエイトは一人、彼を食い止めるべく美男に立ち向かうのだが……。
鉄壁のゴレイム
美男に敗れ怪我をしたエイトを気遣うカイト。エイトが自分を案じて取った行動を無駄にしないため、カイトは万全を期して鉄壁を誇る美男のバンディッドゴレイムに勝負を挑む。勝負は一進一退。しかしゴレイムの頑強さはカイトの予想を大きく上回り、リヴァイザーはピンチに！
熱き友情の特訓
立て続けの敗北を受け止め、カイトはデータではなく兄弟の絆、シンクロームをもって雪辱すべく動き出す。一方、ゼロたちもまたゴレイムを倒すべく特訓を始めていた。そんな中、海水浴での逆恨みを晴らそうとゼロたちのいる町へと現れた木倉ゲンは、いきなり鷹ノ助に捕まりバトルをする羽目に。その場面に出くわした海原兄弟は……？
唸れ！オロジャリヴァイザー
鷹ノ助をシンクロームのテスト相手に選んだ海原兄弟は、ゼロジースタジアムでの勝負に臨む。シンクロームにより圧倒的な防御力とスタミナを得たオロジャリヴァイザー。その力は鷹ノ助だけでなく、偶然その場に居合わせてバトルを見ていた左京さえ驚かせるものだった。
鉄壁の防御を打ち破れ！
忍と蓮を相手に連日特訓中のゼロ。既に３人とも疲労で腕が張った状態だった。しかしゴレイムに勝つためにと、意気込みは高い。
そんな時、スタジアムで美男が悪矢たち相手にバトルをしているという連絡が！しかしゼロたちが辿り着いた時には既に悪矢たちの敗北で決着がついていた。
非情のベギラドス
ゼロの特訓の成果によりゴレイムと互角の戦いを繰り広げるイフレイド。そして必殺転技での勝負は、僅差でイフレイドに軍配が上がった！しかし勝利の余韻も束の間、美男を裏で操る少年、破山キラが現れる。彼は街の全てのベイを破壊することを宣言し、バトルで忍のサラマンダを一蹴するのだった！！
勝ちとれ！挑戦権
恐るべき力を秘めたシンクロームベイ・ゴレイムベギラドスとの戦いに備え、更なる特訓に挑むゼロ。そこへ乱入したのは海原兄弟だった。カイトは岩山へのリベンジをゼロに取られた形になり、ならばとベギラドスへの挑戦権を主張する。ベンケイのとりなしでゼロとカイトは互いのシンクロームベイで挑戦権を掛けて勝負する事に！
激闘！シンクロームバトル
キラはゼロを確実に倒すべく巨大なスタジアムを準備していた。不利を承知で果敢に挑むゼロ。しかしシンクロームしたベギラドスは恐るべき力でイフレイドを圧倒し、勝利して見せる。愕然とするゼロたちを尻目にキラはベイの新時代を担う組織『ＤＮＡ』の一員としてＷＢＢＡに宣戦布告するのだった！！

DNA包囲網
決勝を待たず再会し、激突必至のたゼロと左京。しかし左京と対等に向き合いたい鷹ノ助もまたゼロとの勝負を求める。その意気を組んだゼロが鷹ノ助とのバトルを始めようとしたその時、横から割って入った者がいた。スパイク・ボーン。他の試合へ乱入してでもゼロと戦うことを匂わせる彼は、マルの予想通りＤＮＡの刺客だった！！

イフレイドに十分ダメージを与えて退場するスパイク。そこへ現れた玄十郎はゼロに連戦を要求する。そこへ割って入ったのは左京だった。手段を問わないＤＮＡのやり口に左京の怒りが炸裂する！そして各地で激闘が繰り広げられる中、遂に決勝進出者８名が決定する。それは果たして誰なのか！？
燃えろ！決勝大会
ネオ・バトルブレーダーズ決勝第１試合は忍ｖｓ岩山！鉄壁の防御に以前は苦戦した忍だが、新たに編み出した必殺転技で見事にリベンジを果たす。続く第２試合は、カイトｖｓキラ。予選でキラがエイトを痛めつけて負かすのを見ていたカイトは、雪辱を果たすべくシンクロームベイでのバトルを申し入れる。超重量対決の結末や如何に？！
熱血！ゼロVS鷹ノ助
第３試合は左京が無難に勝利し、続く第４試合ではゼロと鷹ノ助が激突！行く道は違えど共にベイ魂の持ち主。一進一退の攻防の中で何と新しい必殺転技を編み出した鷹ノ助に、ゼロもまた全力で応じる。最後の力を込めた必殺転技のぶつかり合い。準決勝へ進むのはゼロか、鷹ノ助か？！
友との誓い
準決勝出場の４人が決まった翌日、忍は蓮や海原兄弟と最終調整を行っていた。忍の脳裏によぎるのはライバルであるゼロのこと。そしてゼロもまた左京のドラグーンとの戦いに備えて苛烈な特訓を行っていた。ゼロと忍の想いは１つ。決勝で戦う事！しかしゼロはその為には左京のドラグーンを倒さねばならない。因縁の対決がここに幕を開ける！！
宿命のライバル対決
特訓の甲斐あってドラグーンの猛攻を耐え抜くゼロとイフレイド。以前の対決と違って足場に不安のない今、ゼロは全力を出し切って左京に挑む。ゼロジースタジアムを左回転の威力で止める荒業に出たドラグーンに、ゼロは仲間たちの想いを背負ってイフレイドを回す。果たして勝負の行方は！？
究極破壊皇バハムディア
ＤＮＡ(ディーエヌエー）最後の１人となったキラに万全の対策で臨む忍。しかしキラが取り出したのはベギラドスではなく、全く違うベイだった！未知のベイ、グラディエーターバハムディアに対して果敢に挑む忍だが、新必殺転技も通用せず防戦一方に。そしてバハムディアの恐るべきパワーは会場全体をも揺るがし、遂にはサラマンダを砕いてしまうのだった！？

ゼロは忍の敵を討たんと特訓に打ち込んでいた。しかし怒りに任せたその行為はイフレイドを傷つけるだけ。その時、ゼロの前に姿を現したのは何と鋼（はがね）銀河！銀河はゼロにバトルを挑み、ブレーダー本来の姿を思い出させる。そう。最後に勝負を分けるのはベイにかける真っ直ぐな想いなのだと。
壮絶！ファイナルマッチ
遂に決勝の時は来た。特訓で満身創痍のゼロ。一方、メルシーを配下として実質的にＤＮＡのリーダーとなったキラは、ベイブレード界を支配する第一歩としてゼロを血祭りに上げるべくこの戦いに臨んだ。試合開始から容赦のない攻めに出るバハムディアの前に早くもピンチのイフレイド。圧倒的な力を誇示するキラに対しゼロは……。
心（たましい）の一撃
ピンチにあってなおキラに敢然と立ち向かうゼロ。これまで戦ってきた仲間たちとの絆がゼロのベイ魂を支え、燃え上がらせているのだ！スタジアムさえ崩れ落ちる程の戦いの中で、ゼロは新たな必殺転技を繰り出し完全無比と思われたバハムディアの牙城に挑む！果たして最終決戦の行方は！？
