あらすじ

若き武道家、リュウとケンは、秘拳である暗殺拳の達人・剛拳のもとで修行の日々を送っていた。やがて剛拳は、いよいよ奥義である“波動”の力を伝授すべく、かつての師・轟鉄の道場へと2人を導く。剛拳は2人を厳しく鍛えながら、いつしか轟鉄に師事した自分と弟・豪鬼の修行時代を思い出す。剛拳にとってそれは懐かしい一方、強さを求め、“殺意の波動”に目覚めた豪鬼を止められなかったという後悔をともなうものでもあった。

第1話

As Ryu and Ken near the end of their training they are impatient to master the power of ‘Hado’. Their Master, Goken, worries about sharing this powerful technique. Goken sets Ryu and Ken on a quest to find Gotetsu’s Dojo where he trained.

第2話

At Goutetsu’s Dojo Gouken, Ryu and Ken pay homage at Goutetsu’s grave. Ken and Ryu discover something secret in Gouken’s past. Gouken recalls his own time spent training alongside his brother Gouki under their Master Goutetsu. Ryu and Ken fight!

第3話

In the past, Goutetsu instructs the young Gouken and Gouki. Gouki is drawn to the power of ‘Satsui no Hado’. In the present, Ryu and Ken try to create their first Hadouken. Gouken is disturbed by Ken’s approach and they argue. Ryu and Ken learn more about the history of Ansatsuken, their master Gouken and his dead brother Gouki.

第4話

Ryu is disturbed and sees a foreboding stranger in his nightmares. Ryu and Ken sneak out for adventure at the G.I. Bar. Ken’s father makes a surprise visit. Ryu is unsettled by the old Dojo.

第5話

Gouken and Gouki vie for Sayaka’s attention. Gouki uses ‘Satsui no Hado’ in a sparring match almost killing his opponent. Goutetsu gives Gouki an Ultimatum after his abuse of Satsui no Hado. Gouki and Sayaka part.

第6話

Ryu and Ken continue to work on their Hadouken, but Ryu is troubled and refuses to fully manifest his. Something is learnt of Ryu’s past. A mysterious stranger appears to Gouken.

第7話

In the past, we see events from Gouki’s perspective as he finds a new home. Gouken and Sayaka become estranged.

第8話

Gouki’s fatalistic pursuit of Dark ‘Hado’ takes him to new dangerous levels. Goutetsu & Gouken seriously debate the risks vs benefit of ‘Satsui no Hado’.

第9話

Goutetsu and Gouken consult the Ansatsuken scrolls and discuss Gouki’s departure. They question the very real potential of Ansatsuken myths becoming reality. Goutetsu confronts a dark presence.

第10話

More is learnt of the fate of Goutetsu, Gouki and Sayaka. Ryu and Ken train, their techniques and Hadoken become more advanced.

第11話

As Ryu and Ken’ training approaches a climax, Gouken sets them a ‘rite of passage’ which will culminate in the greatest challenge of their lives.

第12話

With a near fatality, tensions are high as Gouken is forced to make the hardest decision of his life as an outside force draws closer. The Dojo will never be the same again…
