あらすじ

人々とドラゴンが共に暮らすバイキングの世界で、心やさしい少年ヒックと相棒のドラゴン・トゥースが個性豊かな仲間たちとともに島を飛び出し、壮大な冒険を繰り広げる。

ドラゴン・アイが映す世界 前編

人々とドラゴンが共存するバーク島。バイキングの少年・ヒックは世界はもっと広いはずだと考えながら、ドラゴン探しをしているが、幼なじみの少女アスティに将来のことも考えたほうがいいと言われてしまう。そんなある晩、危険人物のダガーが脱獄し、行商人ヨハンの船を乗っ取った。その後、海に落とされたヨハンがバーク島に現れ、ダガーがヒックへの復讐を企んでいると告げる。

ドラゴン・アイが映す世界 後編

ダガーにおとしいれられて難破船のオリの中に閉じ込められたアスティたち。ダガーを追うか仲間を救うかの二択に立たされたヒックは仲間を助けに戻る。なんとか奪われた謎の筒「ドラゴン・アイ」を取り戻したヒックだったが、ゲップに見せてもこの「ドラゴン・アイ」を開けることはできなかった。

ドラゴンの歌声

不思議な地図を見たヒックたちは評議委員の承諾を得て、外の世界の探検に出る。勇んでバーク島を出たものの、疲労はたまり、濃霧の中では雷雨にも見舞われる。しかし深い霧を抜けると、息をのむほど美しい多島海が広がっていた。早速、彼らは島に降りる。美しい島に大満足して眠りにつくが、翌朝、ドラゴンたちの姿が消えていた。

夜が更けたら

ヒックと仲間たちは、ドラゴン・アイで見た地図を探検し始めたが、その拠点となる島を探し、その島に基地を設けることになった。いくつかの島に立ち寄って適しているかどうかを調べた結果、一行はある島に落ち着く。そして仲間たちはそれぞれ設計案を持ち出すが、話し合いは翌朝に持ち越された。夜、寝静まった時、タフは不気味な音を聞き、１人で闇夜の森へ入っていく。

誕生！ バーク島最強の男！

なぜかくしゃみとかゆみが止まらないフィッシュ。ミートラグに近づくと症状が悪化するため、ミートラグ・アレルギーが疑われた。治療のためにゴーシーのもとを訪れたフィッシュは、催眠術で「アレルギーではない」という暗示をかけられる。これで解決と思われたが、付き添っていたスノットがいたずらを思いついた。フィッシュに暗示をかけ、自分は強じんなスーパー・バイキングなのだと思い込ませたのだ。

問題児グスタフ

「ドラゴン・アイ」の謎を解くのに必死なヒック。そんな中、問題児グスタフがドラゴン乗りの仲間に加えてほしいとドラゴンズ・エッジに乗り込んでくる。「君は無責任なのでドラゴン乗りになる資格はない」とヒックに言われたグスタフは、ヘソを曲げて帰路につくが、ダガーに捕まってしまう。助けに来たヒックに「ダガーの仲間になって一緒に宝を手に入れる」と言い放つグスタフ。それはヒックを無事に帰すための作戦だった。

王様とファイアーワーム

基地を設けた島に、触れたものに火を付ける小さなドラゴン、ファイアーワームが姿を見せ始めた。島が焼け落ちる恐れがあったため、ヒックたちは防火対策に取り組む。一方、タフとラフは、石碑「島はソーストン家のもの」を発見した。ゲップによる鑑定後、その石碑は本物と判定され、タフとラフはストイックによって正式に島の持ち主として認められる。するとふたりは王様のように振る舞い始めた。

石頭の友情

ドラゴンズ・エッジを荒らすドラゴン（ランブルホーン）に悩まされていたヒックたちは、わなを仕掛けて捕らえようと計画。ある晩、わなを見に行くとゲップが捕らえられていた。ゲップはストイックが怒りっぽくなり様子がおかしいと知らせに来たのだ。ヒックは父に会いにバーク島へ向かう。ストイックはドラゴンズ・エッジに残り、ランブルホーンによって壊された建物の修理を手伝うことにした。

フィッシュの決意

ミートラグに様々な種類の岩を食べさせて炎の種類を変え、「ドラゴン・アイ」が映し出す絵の違いを研究していたフィッシュが、グロンクルの故郷と言われる伝説の島「ダーク・ディープ」を示す絵を発見した。大興奮のフィッシュは、ヒックと共に「ダーク・ディープ」へと向かう。ところが「ダーク・ディープ」ではグロンクルたちが、巨大な岩石タイプのドラゴン「カタストロフィー・クエイク」に怯えながら暮らしていた。

ドラゴンと共に行かん 前編

見知らぬドラゴンに乗った覆面のライダーが船を急襲。それを目撃したマルチとバケツから報告を受けたストイックは、ヒックたちを疑い問いただす。しかし、身に覚えがないヒックたちは、バケツから聞いた目撃情報とドラゴン・アイのデータを頼りに、謎の襲撃者を捜しに行くことに。そして、その襲撃者が、かつて一緒に訓練をしたヘザーであることを突き止める。しかし、３年ぶりに再会したヘザーは以前の彼女とどこか違っていた。

ドラゴンと共に行かん 後編

ダガーたちに捕らえられたヘザーを救ったトゥースとヒック。ドラゴンズ・エッジに戻った彼女にヒックたちは力を貸すと申し出る。その後ヘザーはある手紙を探すため、アスティを連れて以前住んでいた島へ。島には姿を消したヘザーを心配したヨハンがいた。ヨハンはヘザーにダガーの行方に関する情報を流していたのだ。今後は役に立ちそうな情報を入手できないと聞いた２人は、ヨハンと別れてドラゴンズ・エッジへと戻って行った。

トゲトゲ大パニック

ヒックは発明中の飛行スーツ「ドラゴン・フライ１号」をある島で皆に披露していたが、飛行テストは失敗。その帰り道、足にケガをしたスピードスティンガーの子供を見つける。スティンガーの尻尾のトゲに刺されるとマヒしてしまうためスノットは嫌がるが、治療のためドラゴンズ・エッジに連れ帰ることにした。子供スティンガーを預かったフィッシュは独自のリハビリ計画で治療に励み、子供スティンガーも彼に懐いたのだが…。

スノットの悪夢

スノットのモンスター・ナイトメア“フックファング”の様子がおかしい。訓練に集中しなかったり、スノットが与えるエサも食べなくなってしまった。そしてついにある晩、逃げ出してしまう。捜しに行ったスノットたちは、森でメスのモンスター・ナイトメアと過ごしているフックファングを見つける。メスと出会い野性の本能を取り戻そうとしているフットファング。スノットは、自分かメスのナイトメアか、どちらかを選べと迫る。

チーム・アスティ

バーク島がダガーに襲われたとの知らせを受け、ヒックたちは急いでバーク島に向かった。アスティの両親は無事だったが、生まれ育った家を焼かれてショックを受ける。離れていたせいで島を守れなかった自分を責め、自分たちの不在時に島を守れるドラゴン乗りの予備軍を作ることを決心する。

ドラゴンハンター 前編

朝のトレーニング中、アスティはドラゴン・ハンターたちがドラゴンを捕まえて檻に入れているところを目撃する。アスティとストームフライはドラゴン・ハンターのボス・ライカーに見つかってしまう。ライカーの放つ矢に当たったストームフライは、コントロールを失いドラゴン・ハンターに捕まり、アスティは海に落ちてそのまま海上をさまよう羽目に。そこを心配して捜しに来たヒックたちに助けられる。

ドラゴンハンター 後編

ドラゴン・ハンターの船でヘザーと再会したアスティたち。ヘザーは兄ダガーをはじめライカーというドラゴン・ハンターと一緒に行動をしていた。ドラゴン・アイを探しているライカーは、アスティを呼び出し、ありかを聞きだそうとしたり、捕らえたドラゴンたちを利用しようとする。アスティたちはドラゴンを連れて船の脱出法を考えるがうまくいかない。ダガーは、脱走を企てた戒めに、アスティたちのうちの１人を殺そうと提案する。

満月の夜に

「グロンクル鉄」の強度テストをしている仲間の元に、何かに腕をかまれたタフが帰ってくる。何の歯型かわからずにいると、ゲップが伝説の「オオカミドラゴン」の話をする。かまれた人間は満月の夜になると、半分オオカミドラゴン、半分人間のケダモノになってしまうと。スノットが面白がって怖がらせたせいで、すっかりその気になってしまったタフは、変身した後に仲間を傷つけないようニワトリと共に自らオリに閉じこもってしまう。

スノットよ、オノを持て！

スノットは父のスパイトから、ヨーゲンソン家とホファーソン家の婚儀で使う斧を式場に運ぶ重要な役目を任されたが、途中で落としてしまう。斧はアーマー・ウィングの背中に刺さり、簡単には抜けない。そこで、金属が大好きなスモークブレスをおびき寄せて利用することに。奮闘の末、斧は取り戻したが、スモークブレスたちはアーマー・ウィングの体の金属をどんどん剥がしてしまう。

バーフとベルチの恩返し

島の北側にある雪山で遊んでいたラフとタフのせいで雪崩が発生。彼らのドラゴン、ダブル・ジップが命を落としかけたところを、トゥースとヒックが救う。その後、ダブル・ジップは、恩返しをするためヒックにしつこくつきまとい始めた。ヒックは双子と協力して芝居をし、ダブル・ジップに恩返しをさせようとするが失敗。更に、双子とスノットの作戦も失敗する。ヒックは新たな作戦を考えると言って１人で森に入って行った。

白銀の戦い

ヒックたちがグロンクル鉄で作ったよろいを試しているところにバーク島に行ったはずのアスティが戻ってきた。途中でヨハンからライカー率いるドラゴンハンターの怪しい動きを聞いて引き返してきたと言うのだ。夏のさなかに冬の装備を買い占めて珍しい何かを追っているようだとの情報から、ドラゴン・アイの鍵であるスノーレイスの歯を狙っているのだと判断した一行は、スノーレイスをライカーの魔の手から救うべく氷河の島へ向かう。

ドラゴンズ・エッジ防衛戦 前編

ヨハンがドラゴン・ハンターに襲われ助けを求めているという内容の手紙が、テラー・メールで送られてくる。ヒックとスノットとフィッシュが助けに向かい、アスティは不服ながらもタフとラフと３人でドラゴンズ・エッジに残る。アスティがマジメに島の警備に励む中、タフとラフはふざけて遊んでばかり。アスティが２人を見下すように注意してしまったため、ラフが怒り２人はケンカをしてしまう。

ドラゴンズ・エッジ防衛戦 後編

ドラゴンに連れ去られたフィッシュを助けようとするヒック、スノット、ヨハン。一方、ドラゴンズ・エッジでは、アスティとタフがドラゴン・ハンターたちを撃退しようと戦い始めた。ハンターたちは捕らえていたラフを連れて島に上陸。ヘザーはゆるゆるの警備でラフを逃がす手助けをする。ハンターに傷つけられ攻撃的になっている野生のドラゴンからフィッシュを救うため、ヒックはドラゴンのリーダーに自分を追わせることにした。

ロキの日はショッキング

もや濃い日、フィッシュは入り江のほとりで怪物らしきものを目撃する。折しも「ロキの日」と称して双子がイタズラに精を出している日だったので、誰も信じてくれない。そこで魚をエサに怪物をおびき出そうとしたフィッシュはその姿を目撃し、外海へ逃げようとする怪物の出口をミートラグの溶岩でふさぎ入り江に閉じ込める。話を聞いて真偽を確かめに入り江に集まった仲間たちの前に現れたのは深海ドラゴン、シーショッカーだった。

復しゅうの時

かつて氷漬けにしたはずのスクリルが、なぜか戻ってきた。スクリルの稲妻で感電したスパイトはしゃべることができなくなる。仕返しをしようとしているスクリルは、ヒックとトゥースを狙っていた。もう一度、スクリルを閉じ込めようと氷の穴へ誘導するも、そう簡単にはいかない。ドラゴン・ハンターたちを利用しようと考えたヒックは、ダガーやハンターたちが乗っている船へ向かい、スクリルに自分とトゥースを追いかけさせる。

こんぼうとかぎづめ 前編

ライカーに命じられ、アスティを攻撃するチャンスがあったにもかかわらず、躊躇（ちゅうちょ）したヘザー。アスティはライカーらが怪しまないよう、ヘザーのドラゴンにトゲを発射する。ヘザーにスパイを続けさせるのは危険だと心配するアスティ。ヒックはビゴがどんな人物か知り、倒すためにも作戦を続けようと主張する。ライカーたちがビゴの待つ島へ戻ることになり、ヘザーがビゴと初めて対面する。

こんぼうとかぎづめ 後編

ヘザー、ウィンドシア、フライトメアが捕まった上、ビゴを取り逃がしたヒックは自分を責めていた。しかし、ドラゴンズ・エッジに残してきたドラゴン・アイは、ラフがこっそり持ち出して洞穴に隠していたためビゴに奪われずに済んでいた。ヒックはヘザーたちを助け出すべく、強敵ビゴに対する戦略を練ることに。一方ドラゴン・ハンターの島ではビゴの命令でライカーがフライトメアの世話をし、ダガーがヘザーを檻に入れていた。

Snotlout is sent on an undercover mission to Viggo’s dragon auction as part of a plan to rescue the dragons and stop Viggo from getting richer.

When Viggo offers Hiccup a truce, the wary Dragon Riders investigate and find a potential ally in their fight against the Dragon Hunters.

The Dragon Riders attend Berk’s 400th anniversary celebration, where a bounty on Hiccup’s head casts a dark shadow over the festivities.

After getting bad advice from his father, Snotlout tries to seize leadership of the Dragon Riders and starts making reckless decisions on his own.

During a trip to Wingmaiden Island to find a Dragon Eye lens, Snotlout challenges Hiccup’s leadership. On another island, an unlikely romance blooms.

Upset after learning his ancestors were Hunters who killed off Dramillions, Fishlegs sets out to see if he can find any of the dragon species left.

Hiccup grows wary when Gruffnut arrives on the twins’ 19th birthday to administer a Thorston coming-of-age ritual involving three dangerous challenges.

While on night patrol, Stoick is ambushed by the Flyers and gravely injured, leaving Hiccup torn between his duties as a son and as the Riders’ leader.

After learning several Flyers followed Heather to Vanaheim, the Riders must stop them from reporting the sacred island’s location to their leader.

With the fifth lens in place, the Dragon Eye 2 unveils the apparent King of Dragons, and Fishlegs immediately knows what it is and where to find it.

The Riders race to the home of the true King of Dragons. But the Flyers are already there, and they soon come face to face with the legendary creature.
