あらすじ
American Dragon is a coming of age comedy-action series about Jake Long, a 13-year-old Asian-American boy who strives to find balance in his life as a skateboard-grinding, New York 'tween while learning to master his mystical powers (in his secret identity) as the American Dragon, the protector and guardian of all magical creatures secretly living amidst the human world.

Jake must rescue Hobie, an eight-year-old, 400-pound giant, from the evil clutches of King Hammer, owner of the K.E.W.L. (King Extreme Wrestling League).

Jake is thrown together with a group of comically inept magical misfits when they are captured and chained together as the targets for the Huntsclan’s annual hunting contest.

Jake and Gramps head to a Dragon Retreat, leaving Fu Dog, Trixie and Spud in charge of the electronics store. When mountain trolls start terrorising the area, it’s up to them to put a stop it.

A giant couple come to Jake – the American Dragon – for help. Their son, Hobie, has run away from home. Investigating his room, Jake, Trixie, and Spud discover he’s a fan of KEWL, a pro wrestling league. They find out Hobie’s the new champion, using his size to easily defeat the human wrestlers. Jake goes undercover as “Dragonfire”, a new wrestler, in order to defeat Hobie and get his contract canceled so he can go back home. But just before the championship match, the founder of KEWL overhears that Hobie is a real giant. Talking to Hobie, he finds that there’s a whole village of giants upstate. After Jake defeats Hobie, they’re mystified that the founder isn’t at the match to officiate. That’s when Hobie tells Jake that he told the KEWL about his village. Jake realizes that he’s going up to the village to enslave the giants to be wrestlers. Jake and company go up to the giant village and defeat KEWL’s wrestlers and founder, just as they were chaining up the giants and loading them in trucks.

Still mournful over finding out Rose is the Huntsgirl, and thus being forced to shun her affections, Jake is kidnapped by The Huntsclan along with other magical creatures as part of their “Grand Equinox Hunt,” where they are set free to be hunted down by the Huntsclan. When he doesn’t drop subtle hints at Rose about the true nature of their relationship, he realizes that as a dragon, he must help a water-fearing mermaid, a hot-blooded brownie, a giantess, and an unlucky Leprechaun to defend themselves in the hunt.

When Jake faces a villain named Fury, who tries to find her sisters and rule the world once again, Trixie goes undercover as a cheerleader to get information from a tight-knit squad of cheerleaders who get possessed by Fury now and again.

Jake decides to use a potion to locate Rose but when the contents end up in cupcakes baked for the school carnival, and everyone is turned into Krylock monsters, trouble ensues.

Jake and Spud stumble upon Rose while undercover at a secret Huntsclan Training School.

When Jake is overwhelmed by his hectic schedule, he begins using his dragon powers to create doppelganger copies of himself to help ease the load-with, but also creates his dark side who has plans of his own.

Jake’s life is thrown into chaos when Grandpa starts dating his principal. Meanwhile, Jake learns a ferocious beast is preying on magical creatures.

Jake becomes obsessed with his appearance when he is hit by a vicious case of dragon acne. At the same time, he must work with Rose for the first time when she reveals the Huntsman’s ultimate evil plan.

Jake accidentally gets Rotwood fired, and ends up with a Principal who’s even worse, meanwhile Spud tries to “woo” Stacey with onions.

Jake, feeling humiliated by his family’s Christmas traditions, turns his back on them. But when he rescues a baby Sasquatch who was accidentally separated from his family, he learns the true meaning of Christmas.

An enchanted mirror switches the bodies of Jake and Haley for a day.

When Cupid goes on vacation, he leaves his magical bow and love arrows in Grandpa’s care. Jake can’t resist borrowing Cupid’s equipment and using it to play matchmaker on his school’s “Love Cruise”.

While volunteering to mind Grandpa’s shop on Chinese new year, Jake accidentally curses it with bad luck and must face the consequences.

Jake tries to use his nomination as Homecoming Prince to win back Rose.

Jake’s loyalty to Fu Dog comes into question when he’s assigned a new animal guardian-a totally cool hip-hop helper monkey. But can Jake’s perfect new pet ever take the place of Fu Dog?

Jake, Spud, and Trixie become camp counselors. Jake must face his school nemesis Brad, as well as clan of ghosts, bent on revenge.

Dad drags Jake to the office for Take Your Child to Work Day. Jake begins the day convinced that Dad’s a wimp, but witnesses his father’s inner (and outer) strength against a pack of marauding vampires.
