第1話

Kim Soo Hyun is a successful writer for TV and her husband, Han Ji Hoon, is a dedicated, human rights lawyer. These parents of the young girl, Han Sa Byul, seldom agree on discipline for their daughter, but do want her to have a good and happy life. Han Sa Byul shows that she already has a strong and independent personality – she’s often stubborn and headstrong, but she is also very kind, sympathetic, concerned and empathetic towards others. She is not just another copy of other young girls, she guards her individuality even when people won’t be friends with her. Many other characters are introduced and we begin to see how they are linked to this family. Kim Soo Hyun receives disturbing news about destiny that she cannot forget.

第2話

The bad news begins reaching characters and causing devastation and heartbreak. There’s now no doubt that Han Sa Byul has been kidnapped by the serial killer who claims he’s making a political statement. Kim Soo Hyun has every raw emotion captured on camera and broadcast. In desperation, she takes a chance and eludes police as she offers money and then fights for the life of her daughter. She goes on camera again to beg for mercy for her daughter from the killer, but ends it with a threat. Han Ji Hoon attempts to take an active part in the investigation, but Kim Soo Hyun makes that difficult. Dong Chan receives his bad news – one item after another, starting with his arrest for kidnapping. His background story helps us understand him better, but comes with its own horrifying news. A fisherman hooks something he never wanted to find. It is a bizarre and unexpected circumstance that pull Dong Chan and Kim Soo Hyun together after she voices a heart felt plea to be able to go back and change events.

Circumstances continue to draw Kim Soo Hyun and former police officer, now private detective, Dong Chan together. Both have experienced the confusion and disbelief about returning to a time 2 weeks in the past with their memories intact. As they work more closely together, they begin to realize that not only do others not believe them, but it’s harder than they thought to have any influence on events from the past even with their special knowledge.

Dong Chan begins to realize that Kim Soo Hyun will do whatever is necessary to save her daughter from the serial killer. They work frantically to try and save the other victims, but discover that it’s almost impossible to change an ultimate destiny. Dong Chan and Hyun Woo Jin search frantically for Kim Soo Hyun when she is taken. Finally, Kim Soo Hyun has control of the serial killer’s fate, but what will she decide is the best action for her daughter’s safety?

第5話

Even if Dong Chan can’t remember where he has seen Han Ji Hoon in the past, there is plenty about him to shock and offend his wife in the present. Dong Chan and Kim Soo Hyun go to great lengths to be sure the killer stays in jail, but it’s Dong Chan who is arrested again. In the end, Dong Chan and Kim Soo Hyun are faced again with the inability to truly change destiny.

第6話

Kim Soo Hyun is once again driven by the fear that she cannot fight destiny and she has trouble knowing if she is living a life before the death of her daughter or after. Dong Chan is still searching for answers, then ties between his family and the killer’s is revealed to him. Profilers have also determined what motivated the serial killer. The animosity between Dong Chan and Hyun Woo Jin is shown in a flashback and Dong Chan also remembers where he has seen Han Ji Hoon. Slowly, the pieces of a complex puzzle continue to come together and Dong Chan and Kim Soo Hyun risk discover while looking for more evidence.

第7話

The shock of seeing the unexpected evidence in Chang Moon Soo’s apartment, puts Kim Soo Hyun in direct danger – not once, but two times. When Han Sa Byul has a face painting done that matches her killer’s tattoo, it sets her mother on another investigatory path that finally leads her to understand what Han Ji Hoon has been hiding from her. Meanwhile, Ki Dong Chan, when not busy rescuing Kim Soo Hyun, has revealed an important secret about Chang Moon Soo.

第8話

Joo Min Ah reacts to danger faced by Han Sa Byul in an unexpected manner. When Kim Soo Hyun leaves home with Han Sa Byul, Han Ji Hoon threatens an unidentified person. It is Ki Dong Chan to the rescue once again when Kim Soo Hyun’s motel room is broken into. Choo Byung Woo puts on a quite a show for Ki Dong Chan’s house guests and it lightens the dark mood and decreases some of the fear. As new clues indicate even more possible involvement by Han Ji Hoon, Kim Soo Hyun and Ki Dong Chan practice their breaking and entry skills again. Once again, their trespassing leads to a kidnapping.

第9話

Kim Soo Hyun must leave Ki Dong Chun while he’s being transported by ambulance and go to the concert where she believes she will find her daughter. She doesn’t find her until they go to the same police station where she was being cared for before. Now, Han Ji Hoon continues to act suspiciously, but watching Hyun Woo Jin destroy evidence that Ki Dong Chan had left on the scene, arouses even more suspicion. As Han Sa Byul and Ki Young Gyu try to get home after following their favorite band back to a house, flashbacks fill in the story about the death of the band leader’s brother, but there are still some mysteries remaining. Still searching for the clues that will identify who the killer is, Ki Dong Chan, Kim Soo Hyun and Han Sa Byul end up at the lake where Han Sa Byul was drowned.

第10話

Not all the answers they receive are honest when Ki Dong Chun, Kim Soo Hyun and Han Sa Byul go to Moo Jin to find the people shown in a photo taken from Te Oh’s house. Even though Ki Dong Ho is likely to be executed for her death and two others, there are still questions that should be answered. When Kim Soo Hyun discovers that Ki Dong Chun has not been completely honest with her, she looses faith in him and he’s deeply hurt by her suspicions. Flashbacks reveal more about the night of Lee Soo Jung’s murder. Jenny does her part in the investigations by playing a golf caddie and a psychiatric patient. Han Ji Hoon receives a mysterious phone call of threats to his family’s safety, but Kim Soo Hyun receives the news through a different method.

第11話

Now Jenny is a get-away driver. Hyun Woo Jin appears to be destroying more evidence just before he orders arrest warrants for Ki Dong Chun, Kim Soo Hyun, Wang Byung Tae and Han Chun Ja. When Hyun Woo Jin is face to face with the killer, we learn why he is willing to betray his oath and friendship with Kim Soo Hyun. Han Ji Hoon confronts Joo Min Ah, but cannot report her to the police for falsely claiming Kim Soo Hyun battered her because then Han Ji Hoon would have to admit that he’s being blackmailed. In spite of the animosity between Kim Soo Hyun and her mother, she entrusts Han Sa Byul to her care and her mother is faithful to protect her granddaughter. Han Ji Hoon’s ego renders him incapable of believing that he is wrong and Kim Soo Hyun is sane and honest. He continues to endanger Han Sa Byul when he refuses to believe her mother. Then, Kim Soo Hyun’s worst nightmare begins replaying.

Han Ji Hoon feels that something is wrong, but he can’t admit his wife has been telling the truth. On the other hand, Ki Dong Chan and Kim Soo Hyun know what is happening and they spring into action, but discover not everything is the same.

第13話

It’s a time of evading people who want to stop their investigation of abduct any witnesses and Ki Dong Chun is arrested again. Han Ji Hoon continues to use the fact that his wife was under psychiatric observation, without revealing that it was done at his request, to manipulate and control Kim Soo Hyun. She uses the time of confinement to discover some very important evidence. Ki Dong Chun finally realizes that he made a mistake when acting as a witness in Ki Dong Ho’s murder trial. Soon Ki Dong Chun and Kim Soo Hyun seem to have most of the facts of the various cases, but they still don’t know the identity of “Hephaistos” the killer of Han Sa Byul. Hyun Woo Jin makes a confession to his father and more clues are revealed by different characters. Finally, it’s Kim Soo Hyun who resorts to abduction of a child to force the return of her daughter.

As the deadline approaches, Soo Hyun makes a shockingly desperate decision to save her daughter.
