あらすじ
When Reykjavik crime detective Helgi Marvin Runarsson is called in to investigate a suicide case on Snaefellsnes Peninsula, the case turns out to be far from simple. Pulled into a sinister trail of evidence, Helgi's own deeply hidden secrets are unearthed. Will Helgi turn a blind eye to murder in order to save the life of his daughter.

A wealthy business man is found dead from what seems to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, however, Reykjavik detective Helgi believes it was an execution. Soon afterward, a man and his young daughter disappear from a lava field tour. A disgraced former police sergeant attempts to investigate a drug smuggling operation on his own when the police ignore his attempts to report suspicious activities.
